Tip Top Temp Akorn Adaptor Kit Some clever customers experimented with and confirmed that wall plate hanger clips work great for holding the Tip Top Temp down onto Akorns! They MAY work on other grills. OOK hangers and other manufacturers are available at most any housewares and hardware store however we have made them available here for your convenience. The plate hanger shipped may be OOK or another manufacturer. Note: This is an adaptor/clips to attach a Tip top Temp to an Akorn, it does not include the Tip Top Temp unit.

FireBoard Competition Series Probe 1" S The 1″ (28mm) SF628T Competition Series probe is the perfect choice to get precise readings in smaller cuts of meat or where space is limited. The shorter size makes this a great choice for ribs, brisket, fish, and more! Probe type: 100K Thermistor. Probe Temperature Range: 0 to 572°F (-18 to 300°C). Specifications: 6 ft. cable, 28mm (~1″) long probe, 1.8mm (1/16″) diameter.

Tip Top Temp C4F 100mm Vent Controller - Akorn Jnr This is a prepackaged TipTopTemp and includes a 1/2" high temp silicone spacing gasket to fill the gap on the smaller fixed vents. Designed for the Akorn Jr grills. Here is how the TipTopTemp works. The bi-metal coil moves the damper when the temperature changes. As the exhaust warms the coil it will shut the damper. As the coals cool, the coil will open the damper allowing more air to enter and the coals to get hot. The cycle will repeat keeping the desired temperature. Although designed originally for the Weber kettle, it is being used on the Big Steel Keg, Big Green Egg, Akorn and others. Some additional products have been used by the customers to secure the TipTopTemp® to the grill.  Check out our shop to see options we offer or check relevant forums for "hacks" to get the TipTopTemp® working on other grill types. You are currently looking at the Akorn Jnr Model. The USA made T3 is made of heavy gauge plated steel and has a hardwood knob. The knob can be personalised with a graduated decal or favourite temperature marked by the customer. The T3 can be used as a single 3inch internal diameter  or 5inch outside diameter assembled unit with a twist, locking the two pieces together. The only difference between the packages is the included accessory. Each package has the same TipTopTemp device.
