No more takeout or delivery. Time to smoke your own homemade gourmet pizza! Using mushrooms, artichokes, onions, white sauce, sausage, goat cheese, and truffle oil you are guaranteed a flavorful bite!

INGREDIENTS

  • Pizza dough from a local pizza place or store

  • 1 cup white sauce

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms

  • 1/2 cup sautéed onions

  • 1/2 cup spinach

  • 1/2 cup marinated artichokes, store-bought or homemade

  • 1 cup Italian sausage

  • 1/2 cup bacon, crumbles

  • 2 oz. goat cheese, crumbles

  • Truffle oil, drizzle

DIRECTIONS

  1. Light Pit Barrel® using the following instructions.

  2. Light a full Pit Barrel® Chimney Starter with lump charcoal or briquettes until really hot (12-15 min).

  3. Pour into empty charcoal basket.

  4. Top off with more lump charcoal until plenty full.

  5. Sauté onions and mushrooms.

  6. Roll out dough to preferred thickness and place on a pizza stone.

  7. Add toppings to the pizza dough.

  8. Place in very hot Pit Barrel® for 20-25 min.

  9. Remove with Pit Barrel® Pit Grips and serve.
